Two players, Congolese striker Ntamba Musikwabo Malick and Tanzanian-Zanzibar forward Raymond Lolendi Ntaudyimara, were spotted during Rayon Sports' training session.
On Monday, January 21, 2025, Rayon
Sports resumed training at Nzove as they prepared for the Heroes Cup games and
the return leg of the league.
Among the participants in this
session were new attacking players, including Ntamba Musikwabo Malick, a
Congolese forward previously playing for AS Kabahasha, a second-division team
in his home country.
Additionally, 19-year-old Raymond
Lolendi Ntaudyimara from Tanzania, formerly of JKU in Zanzibar, was also
present.
Both players are currently on trial
at Rayon Sports, and if they impress the coach and management, they are
expected to sign contracts with the club.
Although only these two players were
present during Monday's session, other players are expected to join the
training for trials on Tuesday, including Ugandans Bayo Aziz Fahad, a striker,
and Bright Anukani, a midfielder known for his playmaking abilities at KCCA.
Rayon Sports FC is actively seeking
to strengthen its squad after finishing the first half of the league in the top
position with 36 points, five ahead of second-placed APR FC.
The Blue and White team is also preparing for the Heroes Cup, where they will face Police FC in the semifinals. A win in this match would see them meet the victor of the clash between AS Kigali and APR FC.
